I’ve Moved My Blog to Substack (Dr Schierling Unfiltered)

Dr Schierling Unfiltered

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you already know the story….

What began as a small independent health blog a couple decades ago unexpectedly exploded. Despite having essentially zero understanding of SEO, algorithms, branding, or any of the modern tricks of digital publishing, my site began reaching people all over the world. As I migrated from Weebly to WordPress, preparing to monetize the site and invest more heavily into the work, the censorship machine hit me like a runaway freight train.

Not because of profanity. Not because of hate speech. Not because of misinformation in the lazy, dumbed-down modern sense of the term. But because three and a half decades of questioning institutional narratives — particularly in health and medicine — had become unacceptable.

To remain an online presence, you were required to filter…

Overnight, independent voices across the natural health world began disappearing into algorithmic black holes. Search rankings collapsed. Reach vanished. Entire topics became digitally radioactive. Government agencies, Big Tech monopolies, corporate media, and institutional medicine formed what increasingly resembled a coordinated Ministry of Truth for the internet age.

If you want the full story, you can read my eight-part series chronicling exactly what happened and how we got here. Those articles will be my final posts published on this site. But the short version is simple: I’m not done writing, I’ve simply moved.

Dr Schierling Unfiltered is now live at unfiltered.doctorschierling.com over at Substack.

Is Substack perfect? Absolutely not – far from it. But at this point, perfection is not the goal. The goal is preserving independent thought, open inquiry, honest investigation, and the ability to speak freely without institutional gatekeepers throttling visibility behind the scenes.

Truth does not disappear just because powerful people decide it’s become inconvenient. But it can certainly force changes. And speaking of changes, in many ways, this is the move I probably should have made six years ago. Regardless, the mission remains the same…

  • Follow the evidence.
  • Question the narrative.
  • Refuse ideological conformity.
  • Go where the facts lead — even when they make people uncomfortable.

If that resonates with you, come join me. The next chapter starts now.
